THE AUTHOR OF THE FOLLOWING COMMENTARIES POSSESSES ACCOLADE AWARDS FROM THE PROVINCE OF BC FOR HAVING BEEN A PROTECTOR OF CHILDREN IN CARE; A PROCTOR OF CHILD CARE WORKERS; AND, FURTHER, PASSED QUALIFICATIONS FOR BOTH THE CITIES OF VICTORIA AND SAANICH POLICE DEPARTMENTS; AND, ADDITIONALLY, HAS SUPERVISED MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENTS ACROSS CANADA FOR MEGA POWER PROJECTS. ... WHILE, FINALLY, IS, ALSO, A RESIDING TENANT IN THE TOWERS IN QUESTION AS OWNED BY STARLIGHT INVESTMENTS LTD.
[A rental company with buildings in six provinces racked up hundreds of safety complaints, but its units are still on the market under two successor entities, a CBC Marketplace investigation has revealed. TransGlobe Investment Management had thousands of apartment units in approximately 400 buildings in B.C., Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. but also a large number of complaints from tenants ... In Ontario alone, it racked up more than 240 charges for failing to complete ordered repairs and violating fire codes, amassing nearly $80,000 in fines.] - CBCnews 2012

COMPLAINT SUBJECT EVIDENT BREACH OF DUTY TO ADEQUATELY ADVISE RESIDENTS - WORKSAFEBC REPORT
QUESTION : WHY ARE EMPLOYEES OF THE TOWERS; AND, CONSTRUCTION WORKERS; EMERGENCY SERVICES ADVISED TO ENTER THESE GOODACRE TOWERS ONLY AFTER EXERCISING REGULATED CAUTIONS - INCLUDING, DONNING HAZMAT ATTIRE; INCLUDING, RESPIRATION UNITS - WHILE, THE TOWERS RESIDENT CANNOT BE ADVISED IN WRITING FROM THE CITY OF VICTORIA OR WORKSAFEBC; FOLLOWING WHICH SUCH INSPECTION DOCUMENTS MAY BE SUBMITTED TO LEGAL COUNSEL FOR ADVICE : THESE TOWERS INCLUDE ADULTS WITH SEVERAL SEVERE HEALTH ISSUES; INFANTS AND CHILDREN; AND, PETS :  WHERE IS THE PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT IN THESE MATTERS; AND, WHY DID VICTORIA CITY ISSUE CONSTRUCTION RENOVATION PERMITS TO THE OWNER IN EVIDENT ABSENCE OF ADEQUATE OVERSIGHT REGARDING THE AGE OF THE BUILDING AND KNOWN HAZARDOUS MATERIALS WITHIN THE UNITS TO BE DEMOLISHED AND RECONSTRUCTED WHILE THE BUILDINGS CONTINUED TO BE OCCUPIED ??? : ANSWERS, PLEASE

IT IS UNDERSTOOD : That on Monday, January 16TH, 2017 WorksafeBC will hold meetings with the Building owner / or, representative to set forth conditions wherein FARMER CONSTRUCTION will step forward as the General Contractor for the Goodacres Interior and Exterior Renovations Project. This is progressive; but, does NOT settle the outstanding matter of resident tenant access to the personal possession of copies of the WorksafeBC Inspection Report  201717356002A regarding and including alerts regarding asbestos ... AND, THIS IS REGRETTABLE.

The above is submitted in good faith that all rumours of dire regard will shortly be resolved in favour of "good and just cause"; wherein, infants, children; those of compromised health - and, all persons - who are either residents or employees of companies doing business at Goodacre Towers Victoria at James Bay.  So said in truth.
